Craftie Cafe: Planner Card No.2

Image
Back again sharing a card I created using a planner stamp I got from Craftie Café. The planner stamp I’m using is Hero Arts– Girl Talk by Kelly Purkeyand it’s all about encouragement and motivation. From a planner point of view it looks like something you would use on a date you had a big test, or simply going to the gym with a friendly reminder that ‘you can do it!’ But it also has a great Supermom (American spelling) image and words of encouragement that could be used on a card to give to someone who might need a little motivation or a little reminder that they’re awesome or that they’re super!

Ink Road Stamps: Friday Feature

Image
It's Friday Feature over at Ink Road Stamps blog! Today the design team are showcasing the stamp set: Call Me Maybe.
I've used this set a few times now as I love the little speech/heart bubble, so this time I thought I'd flip the idea around a little and feature the sentiments. I used my silhouette to cut out some speech bubbles so that I could stamp the sentiments in each one. I picked bright vibrant ink (Ranger dye ink) to contrast against the black. I also did some masking and ink blending - to colour the back of the hearts. I embellished the card with black twine and enamel dots.

Some of the bubbles are lifted up using foam tape - to give the card added interest.

Elizabeth Craft Designs: Thanks. Thanks. Thanks.

I've got a card of appreciation up on Elizabeth Craft Designs blog today!

I'm using the 'thanks' die from Joset's new release - Words 2 (Thinking of You) but I love how many sentiment options are available in this set. Changing it to 'Think of You' or repeating the word 'smile' are wonderful options to create more cards using this same card design.
This card is embellished with sequins and twine. I've added gold beads (secured with washi tape) and gold stitched borders for added interest.  Stop by the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog  to see full instructions on how I created this card.

Many Thanks for stopping by - hope you like my first card with instructions up on the ECD blog today. Many more inspiring cards to come soon...
