MFT Colour Challenge!

Awhile ago I ordered my first MFT card kit - of which I haven't had the chance to play with...yet! But in this order I added a stamp set that I've wanted since it's release and this week had a chance to play with it as well as my TomBow markers! 

I wanted to make a CAS card - really nothing too fancy, I just wanted to make these birds as vibrant as I could... So I used most of the colors from MFT color challenge and created this card.



I first die cut MLPW Rectangle Nesting TRIBAL die using watercolour paper, stamped the sentiment then added the birds. I didn't use water (as TomBow markers can be water colour) but instead used the blending marker to blend the colours together. I was quite pleased with the brightness of the markers and the ease in using them. 

The stamp from MFT is called Tweet Friends.

Growing in Unity: Day 1

Yippee!! After waiting 11 months, 10 days, it's finally my week to share my Unity cards. 5 whole days of inspiration is coming your way...oh! and lets not forget the sponsored giveaway by Unity at the end of my week - a grab bag with 25 random stamps! My first card I decided to use one of my favourite sets - I actually combined two (no, three!) Unity sets that really go well together. How do you use your Unity stamps? Would you mix and match them? When I first starting stamping (15 years ago) the thought of mixing sets would make me cringe - but now... no problems! I think it's a great way to make the most of your stamp collection. A Super Quick Card!

Just sharing another card I made (with the help of master 2 1/2yo). Stamp is unity -  Vase with stripes.  C oloured with prisma pencils and gamsol. A super quick card to make as master 2 1/2yo did most of the work.
